She has also worked privately at Roehampton Priory Hospital for 15 years.
She has specialised in Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy. This type of therapy, which is run in groups of eight weeks duration, has been found to be very effective for patients suffering from stress, depression, anxiety and chronic pain arising from a variety of medical conditions. The course includes the therapeutic use of meditation as well as the philosophy of mindfulness combined with Cognitive Behaviour Therapy.
She also practices Neuropsychology. This involves using psychological tests to determine the degree of cognitive impairment caused for example,
by ageing, stress, injury, disease or drug and alcohol use. She can identify what behaviour and abilities are impaired, whether the person can work or what help they will need to live in the future.
Dr Morris also has particular expertise in the diagnosis of memory problems, early diagnosis of dementia, assessment of degree of brain injury, diagnosis of adult dyslexia and psychological assessment for accident compensation cases.
