Types of Psychotherapies

This is a look at some of the psychotherapies that we offer at The London Psychiatry Centre. You should note that our trained health professionals are well versed in these methods and know how to use them to give you the most benefit possible.

  • Cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) – Cognitive Behavioural Therapy or CBT is a proven method that utilizes evidence-based therapy to help people learn to deal more effectively with anxiety, depression, pain syndromes, ADHD etc.
  • Cognitive analytical therapy (CAT) – This time-limited therapy is focused on achieving constructive change in maladaptive coping strategies. It is applied in many mental health problems including anxiety and mood disorders and self esteem.
