rTMS for depression
Research has shown that a large proportion of patients who were unresponsive to antidepressant medication experience a significant improvement in their depressive symptoms when treated with rTMS.
We pioneered the use of rTMS in the UK in 2012 and have treated the largest cohort of patients in the UK.
Our patented protocol means that our remission rates are three times higher (6 in 10 recovered) than the UK platinum standard (2 in 10 recovered). We are proud to publish our treatment results in peer-reviewed journals.
The Zamar Protocol™ for resistant mood disorders
Available exclusively at The London Psychiatry Centre, The Zamar Protocol™ (Precision guided high-dose thyroid hormones and rTMS protocol) is our patented treatment programme for resistant mood disorders, including bipolar disorder. It combines precision medicine-guided thyroid hormones and mitochondrial treatment with rTMS.
Our bipolar disorder patients report a substantial improvement in quality of life, with 96.4% experiencing full remission for a period of 2 years (not because they relapsed but because the observation period ended). The effect size is 2.6. For comparison, this is 800% more effective than antidepressants.
